Hostel
Checking-in
- What time is check-in?
- Check-in is between 10:45am & 5:45pm ~ Monday till Friday and 10:45am & 4:45pm ~ Saturday and Sunday. We offer a free pick up service from the Willesden Green Tube Station during office hours. If you can't check-in between office hours we have a late check-in procedure. (see late check-in details).
- Do I pay more for checking in on Sunday?
- Yes, there is a Sunday fee of £15 per person for checking in on Sunday in the hostel.
- Can we check-in after office hours?
- Yes, if you are checking-in after hours please let the office know and we will send you an email with instructions and leave the keys out do you can get into your accommodation, there is also will be a fee of £15 per person.
- If we check-in late when do we pay for our stay?
- We will visit you the following morning between 9:45 - 11:00am to take payment and sign paperwork.
Location
- Where is the hostel located?
- We are located in Willesden Green, North West on the jubilee (grey) line in zone 2. We also have accommodation in surrounding areas Kilburn, Cricklewood and Queens Park.
- How will I know where my accommodation is located?
- We are an 'allocation on arrival' procedure which means that we won't know which property you will be staying in until the morning you arrive. We offer a free pick up service from Willesden Green tube station during office hours.
- How close is the accommodation from the transport system?
- We have many properties in Willesden Green, Kilburn, Cricklewood which are within 5 minutes walking distance to the tube stations and buses in to the city.
Utilities/services
- Are towels/linen provided?
- Towels are only provided in rooms & studios, not in dorms. Yes linen is provided in all accommodation options.
- Are there phones supplied in each room?
- No there is not phones supplied in each room, some houses do have prepay phones in the communal areas.
- Can I request a smoking room?
- No, all our accommodation is smoke free.
- Is there a fast internet connection?
- We provide an complimentary internet access which is an basic internet connection.
- Can I bring my pets on holiday with me?
- No, Unfortunately we have a no pet policy.
- Do you have laundry facilities?
- All buildings have communal coined operate washing machines and dryers.
- Do you offer a dry cleaning service?
- No, we do not offer an dry cleaning service.
- Is there a freezer in my room?
- No freezers are not provided but we have a fridge in each of the dorm rooms.
- Are there hair dryers in the accommodation?
- No, Unfortunately we do not provide hair dryers.
- Do you have luggage storage facilities?
- No, you will need to take your luggage with you when you check out.
Change your booking
- Can I amend my booking?
- Yes, but there is an £15 amendment fee for changing your hostel booking. Ring the office to amend your booking.
Checking out
- What time is check-out time?
- We will visit you to check you out between the hours of 9:45-10:00am for dorms. If you need to check out earlier there is a lock box near the front door where you can put your keys in an envelope provided and in the lock box.
Payment options
- Can we pay for my stay on credit or debit card?
- Yes if the amount is over £250 as we have a minmum amount on a credit card. We charge a 5% fee for any card transactions.
- Do you pay more for checking in on Sunday?
- Yes, there is a Sunday fee of £15 per person for checking in the hostel on Sunday.
- Do you accept Euros or any other currency for payment?
- Yes, we accept Euros at the current currency coversation rate when paying. All bookings are quoted in British pounds sterling only. We do not accept any other currency except for British pounds and Euro dollars.
- Do you accept cheque for payment?
- No, we only accept cash and credit/debit card payments. For any payments by credit card there will be a 5% surcharged (credit/debit cards have a minimum of £250).

- Does the accommodation have wheelchair access?
- Unfortunately we do not have wheelchair access, all our buildings have stair access.
- Does the accommodation have elevators?
- No, unfortunately our buildings only have stairs.
Short Term Bookings

- No phones are not supplied in each room - some of your houses have shared payphones.
- Are there cleaning supplies in my room?
- We do supply dish washing liquid and a sponge as well as two laundry tablets.
- Are there hairdryers in the accommodation?
- No, unfortunately we do not supply hairdryers.
- Do you have luggage storage facilities?
- No, you will need to take your luggage with youat check out time.
- Do you have safe boxes in the room?
- You can hire a safe for your room at an additional £1.50 per day.
Amending your booking
- Can I amend my booking?
- Yes, but only 24 hours before your arrival. There is an £25 amendment fee for changing your room/studio booking. Ring or email the office to amend your booking. info@accommodationlondon.net
Checking out
- What time is check-out time?
- We will visit you to check you out between the hours of 10:00 - 11:00am for rooms and studios. If you need to check out earlier all you need to do is leave you keys in the room and close the door behind you.

London Transport
- What are the hours of the London Underground?
- Opens at approximately 5:30am and closes at approximately 12:30am. Please make sure you check the tfl (www.tfl.gov.uk) website for closure of lines and best route to take.
- How much will it cost to come from Healthrow airport?
- If you buy a oyster card from the tube station the cost to get to Willesden Green from Heathrow will be approximately £7.00. If you need to know cost, services etc for the london transport system please go to www.tfl.gov.uk.
- How do I get to Willesden Green from the Airport?
- Willesden Green is the on jubliee (grey) line in zone 2, North West London. If you need help with transport please click on the following link. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/2558.aspx

Email/internet facilities
- How can I check my emails if I am delayed and arrive late?
- There are internet facilities at all the London airports. If you have already left the airport there are lots of internet cafes in london that are close to the tube station.
- Do you have internet facilities?
- Yes, most of our houses have a basic wireless internet and some of our houses have computers which can access the internet.
London Tours
- Where can I go on a tour of London?
- If you catch the tube to Green Park station, you will notice two bus tour companies just at the exit of the tube station. They are great value and a good day out - you can hope on and off as much as you like.
London Attractions
- How far is the accommodation from the Wembley Stadium or Wembley arena?
- Wembley Stadium/arena are approximately 15 minutes away from the Willesden Green Tube Station.
Shops/post office/banks
- Where can I go for good shopping?
- Catch the tube to Bond Street Underground station (7 stops from Willesden Green) where you will be thrilled with the best of the High Street Shopping. You can also catch the 260 Bus from Willesden Green to the Westfield shopping mall in Shepards Bush.
- Are there grocery shops nearby?
- There are grocery shops walking distance from all accommodation. We have Sainsburys near Willesden tube station, down the road in Kilburn High Road, in the main centre of Willesden Green and also there is a Somerfields in Cricklewood and lots of small grocery shops along all the main streets.
- Is there a post office close by?
- Yes, there are post offices in Willesden Green, Cricklewood, Kilburn and Queens Park.
- Is there a post box close by?
- Yes, there are many post boxes scattered around the streets of London.
You will not have to look too far to find one.
- What banks are in the area?
- We have quite a few banks in the area - Barclays, Lloyds TSB, HSBC and NatWest.

- Where is the doctor if I feel ill?
- There are a few doctor surgeries in the area, and the nearest hospital is the Royal Free Hampstead Hospital on Pond Street in Hampstead, NW3 2QG.
